The Role:
Location: Beresfield (sub-depot and the location of the entire work crew)
The Project Site is Junction Bridge on Rouchel Rd, Upper Rouchel NSW
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 6 Months
Pay Rate to candidate: $44.94 ph+ Super +Overtime and allowances
Hours of work: 38 hrs per week (please see Job Details)
Job Details:
Carpenter working on Junction Bridge Rehabilitation project replacing timber decking, stringers, railing and abutments. Project located Upper Rouchel northeast of Muswellbrook and would require some overtime and staying in provided accommodation.
Required:
Timber carpentry experience required
Available to work 38 hours per week - Project pattern would be either four day week, 9 day fortnight or 19 day month pending project program and work staging.
Own car & DL
Ability to commence immeidately
Your own PPE (steel cap boots and warm appropriate clothing)
Willing to obtain WOF ticket
Must be qualified Carpenter and other tickets advantageous.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Persons working within this role are responsible for more complex, specialised, and intense support activities.
Provide specialist nursing care and support for participants with high care needs that assists and facilitates them to live more independently. To ensure each participant's health and clinical needs are met to reflect their individual needs and delivered in a respectful and dignified manner.
All practices are participant-focused and promote their choices, rights, and decisions. Due to the variable nature of participants, this role requires the Registered Nurse to promote participants' voices, choices and report any areas of concern.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct health assessments to participants receiving our services.
- Assess participants medication requirements and develop medication administration plans.
- Work as part of the team, using a holistic approach, to look at and make recommendations regarding every aspect of our participants' support.
- Provide high-level care assessments and advise of implications.
- Provide clinical knowledge and expertise to support individuals.
Develop and monitor support plans to meet the changing health needs of our participants.
- Educate personnel, including support workers and carers, on supporting participants with complex health needs, including performing complex health care procedures e.g., personal care, complex bowel and bladder management, catheter care, wound management, enteral nutrition, seizure management and autonomic dysreflexia treatment.
- Proactively support participants' independence and social connections while promoting positive health and well-being.
- Incorporate Child Safe Standards in your practice when working with children and young people.
- Report any real or potential risks of harm to a participant, including child and young people.
- Review quality of support, services and work practices making recommendations formed on a continuous improvement mindset. Working collaboratively with the management team to implement recommendations.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor of Nursing or recognised equivalent.
- Hold registration with AHPRA and evidence of continued professional development under the AHPRA standards.
- Have knowledge of relevant framework, policies and procedures impacting the delivery of services to people with a disability.
- Current Driver’s License.
- Fully Registered & Comprehensively Insured Vehicle.

Primary Purpose of the role
Assist the Maintenance Engineer in the development of maintenance and improvement program as well as monitor and report project progress and brief to ensure the delivery of projects as per the agreed milestone

Key accountabilities
Develop project briefs for nominated projects to identify the needs and outcomes to be addressed by the delivery organisation and to negotiate project scope to ensure that agreed project milestones and
costs are met.
Analyse and interpret condition, cost, and other relevant information to support the development strategies, forward year plans and the current year works program for project maintenance works.
Monitor and report on infrastructure project progress to evaluate current program and forward year impacts
Manage the collection and assessment of infrastructure, and where applicable maritime, asset and condition data to provide advice on the extent and type of maintenance work required on the
infrastructure projects in the region
Provide engineering advice on bridge works for rehabilitation and maintenance projects to contribute to the management of RMS technical risk in infrastructure maintenance and planning
Manage professional service contractors and internal service providers by preparing documentation, convening regular progress meetings, and managing deliverables to ensure that specified outcomes
are achieved.
Coordinate handover and disposal of infrastructure and operating assets to ensure accurate asset information is maintained.
Key knowledge and experience
Knowledge or experience in the technical aspects of materials, equipment and techniques used in infrastructure maintenance and construction.
Knowledge and experience in the design, construction and/or maintenance of structures
Ability to develop infrastructure maintenance projects.
Ability in the analysis of bridge information, interpretation of infrastructure plans, estimating and budgeting.
Essential requirements
A four year engineering (Civil / Structural or related) degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications.
Knowledge of the technical aspects of materials, equipment and techniques used in bridge, road and other related traffic infrastructure construction and maintenance.
Knowledge of tenders and contract management requirement and computer based tools and techniques for project and information management.
Possess a current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver license and willingness to work outside normal working hours and travel on occasion
