Apprentice Landscaper - Position Vacant
(Horticulturalist / Landscape) Pialligo ACT
Want to work with a multi award winning nursery and landscaper and be part of changing Canberra’s landscapes?
Provincial undertake commercial and residential landscape works, create wetlands and rehabilitate landscapes at scale. We have a position available for a ‘can do’ Apprentice for our landscaping and revegetation company in Pialligo ACT. This is a position for a sharp, energetic and creative all-rounder who is keen to learn a diverse range of skills and create a career with the prospect of growth throughout the business. We are a progressive, environmentally focused business offering a variety of landscape, revegetation and plant related products and services (including specialist wholesale native plant nurseries; commercial and civil landscaping; xeriscaping / water wise landscaping; supply and plant projects; wetlands creation and revegetation; maintenance; environmental design). We also have other outlets in NSW.
We're looking for a pro-active person who can work with a sense of urgency, looks for solutions, is hungry to learn and can fit in to our positive culture. Lots of opportunity for professional development for the right person.
This person needs to:
- Be a plant and landscaping enthusiast
- Show a keenness to learn and initiative
- Have a positive disposition and great people skills
- Work in a team environment and independently
- Be physically fit and able to undertake nursery and landscaping tasks as required
- Ideally have an ecological / environmental interest
- Have a drivers licence
hours 38 hours per week (includes 1 day at CIT / Tafe)

CASUAL OFFICE RECEPTIONIST 20 HRS PER WEEK +
seeking a casual office receptionist to work 4 hrs per day Mon to Fri extra hours available to cover sick and leave when required ( 10am -2pm preferred)
Located in Fyshwick would prefer a senior + 25 yrs, experience in the trade environment is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English - verbal and email, must have computer knowledge in emails / excel / learn to update computer portals. excellent Phone manner and be well presented. Working with 3 other office staff in a workplace that currently employs 16 staff. Immediate start is available (the workshop will be closed between Mon 23rd Dec and will reopen on Mon 6th Jan)
