With an ongoing variety of work based in Brisbane suburbs and Sunshine Coast, we are looking for a motivated, committed and reliable apprentice who is wishing to gain practical on the job experience and training and a certificate III in Building and Construction. This position is not suited to a mature aged apprentice sorry, but would suit someone who has already started their carpentry apprenticeship in Australia.
Your roles and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Use carpentry tools and equipment
Carry out general demolition of minor building structures
Plan and organise work
Carry out measurements and calculations
Work safely at heights
Construct wall and ceiling frames
Erect roof trusses
Construct eaves and pitched roofs
Install and replace windows and doors
Cleaning of job sites
Applicants must have:
General Induction White Card
An ability to undertake manual/physical work
Punctuality, reliability and energetic
Strong work ethic
Good maths & hand/eye skills
Sound knowledge of WHS
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
Driver’s Licence and own vehicle
