Peregian Beach Bakery is seeking an experienced, highly motivated casual senior shop assistant for our busy beach side bakery.
This position is approximately 25 hours per week and does include weekends.
Shifts available are between 8am -3:30pm.
You must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and work well under pressure. We are looking for people with excellent customer service skills. The successful applicant will also have impeccable forward thinking/planning skills. We are looking for honest, reliable and punctual applicants with good references.
Duties Include:
- Serving customers with exceptional service skills and a smile on your face.
- Achieving a high standard of bakery presentation and cleanliness
- Cash and EFTPOS handling
- Opening and closing of store
- To be comfortable being responsible for supervising junior staff and leading them towards achieving an end goal
- Sandwich making / Food preparation; An eye for detail and food presentation skills
- Cleaning

- To be active - you'll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
- The availability to work flexible hours
- To know your stuff, or learn quickly as you'll be a go-to person for customers queries on the front counter.

The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as soon as possible:
Role: MR Truck Driver
Location: Coolum Beach
Expected Hours of Work: Fulltime Hours
MON- FRI with 7am start
The position will include duties such as but will not be limited to:
* Safely operate and conduct vehicle checks of your assigned MR vehicle
* Maintain all deliveries and documentation.
* Load and Unload with forklift & manual lifting
* Required to do PUD run, about 40 deliveries per day. Sort parcels from cages & load onto truck.
About you:
* Minimum MR MANUAL Licence
* Multi drop exp. in a similar company (minimum 12 months)
* LF Forklift licence preferred
* Able to provide at least two employment references
* Covid vaccination will be required
