Portrait Patch Photography is looking for someone to assist with photo editing, admin and as an on location photographers assistant in Schools and Early Learning Centres across the Sunshine Coast. We are based in Caloundra.
Start date 18th April 2023
Casual position, average of 16 hours per week during school terms.
Usually four mornings per week during school terms only. No school holiday or weekend work is required. Must be available 7.15am until 2.00pm Monday to Friday during the four 10-week school terms.
About the Position
Be part of a small team working on location across the Sunshine Coast, photographing children of all ages. The role involves set up and pack up, engaging with both children and staff on the job then back to our office in Caloundra for photo editing and admin.

About you
If you are a patient, outgoing and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and enjoys working with children then this position may be perfect for you.
Some photo editing will be required so a basic understanding of Photoshop would be an advantage. Some computer skills are also required and the successful applicant must be comfortable using a Apple Mac computer.
We photograph exclusively on location so the lifting and carrying equipment is part of the job, good health and general fitness is essential.
Prior experience in working with children would be an advantage.
Photography experience is not required, however it would be an advantage as there is the opportunity for future training as a photographer.

Easy rapport with children from infants through to high school age
Excellent team work skills
Strong communication skills with both children and adults
A neat and tidy appearance

A current QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain one
A current Divers Licence and own a reliable vehicle as our staff sometimes meet on location
