Working with dogs (Brisbane Northside)
K9 Elite is Brisbane’s first dog running service. We come to your house and put your dog on our 2 specialised Slatmills (Non-Motorised doggy treadmills). Because every dog, deserves the opportunity to run their heart out in a safe, and controlled environment.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic contractor for 1-2 days work per week. These will usually be Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays. Please note, you will be required to use your own vehicle to tow the work trailer (750kg). We mostly service North side so living in the area is a must.
Your role will be driving to the customers house and engaging with not just the dog but a lot of the time with the customers aswell, as most love to watch. We do 25-30 minute sessions depending on the dog. You will play & encourage the dog, teach them how to stop and go, on command (We will show you how to do this). You will then grab payment and off you go to your next session. The trailer will need a quick clean out and wipe down at the end of each day.
For your work, you will invoice $35 per session. Most days will be 5-8 sessions but some days are bigger (upto 10) and some are smaller. You are welcome to go home in between sessions if you have the time.
Experience with dogs is a must. Experience with high energy breeds and reactive dogs is preferable but not necessary.
Happy to provide full training. We currently operate out of an Enclosed trailer with plans to move into a van. You must be able to tow a trailer with your own car.
