An opportunity exists for an experienced Traffic Management Planner with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our team and build a business of their own within our structure. TrafficPOWER has a three-year plan to turn this position into a full-time independent consultancy-based planning department, providing traffic management solutions to both internal and external customers.
Initially, our Planning seat will be responsible for:
· Gathering customer requirements;
· Site inspections;
· Creating safe and compliant Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs, aka Traffic Guidance Schemes) and Traffic Management Plans;
· Lodging, processing, and delivering Road Owner approval in line with customer requirements;
· Reviewing/auditing long-term site installations; and
· Generating leads within the planning seat scope to reach quarterly revenue targets.
Over the next three years you will become responsible for:
· Creating openings for up to three planners to join your team; and
· Leading your staff to becoming a $1.5m/yr standalone department.
The Key Result from this seat is to design and deliver safe, efficient, and compliant worksites.
Applicants must have at minimum:
· Two years’ experience designing and drawing TGSs using Invarion Rapidplan (or a similar product and the ability to learn Rapidplan quickly);
· Two years’ experience designing Traffic Management Plans for high-impact projects, long-term projects, and major events;
· Expert-level familiarity with OPLINC and regional council Road Occupancy application processes; and
· NSW Prepare a Work Zone Traffic Management Plan certification.
Desirable:
· Previous leadership experience
· Business management or sales experience
· Experience developing and implementing traffic management solutions in various states.
